National Warbird Operators Conference Starts New Warbirds “20 Under 40” Program

Scott "Scooter" Yoak of Quick Silver P-51 and The Class of '45 was one of multiple ICAS members selected for the "20 Under 40 program."

Introduced at the 2019 National Warbird Operators Conference to recognize young warbird operators under the age of 40 for their contributions to the warbird community, the new Warbirds “20 Under 40” program will reward and motivate young leaders in the field.

Among the list of 20 warbird contributors: ICAS members Scott Yoak of Quick Silver P-51, Matt Younkin of Younkin Airshows, David Oliver of the Commemorative Air Force, Marco Rusconi of the Canadian Harvard Aerobatic Team and Justin Spence of Ultimate Aircraft Services LLC.

The Warbirds “20 Under 40” program goals consist of recognizing the next generation of warbird contributors under the age of 40, motivate young leaders in the warbird community, reward those recognized individual for their contributions and ensure the warbird legacy into the future.
