Today, the Red Bull Air Race officially announced that the 2019 racing season will be its last and that the 2019 world championship race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in October has been cancelled.
Since 2003 the Red Bull Air Races have brought pilots from all over the world to compete in the world championship of air racing. From Budapest and Abu Dhabi to Kazan and Indianapolis, there have been more than 90 races held around the globe since its creation.
ICAS members Kirby Chambliss, Michael Goulian and Pete McLeod have been regular competitors in the Elite/Master Class of the Red Bull Air Race World Championship. ICAS member Kevin Coleman has been a regular competitor in the in the Challenger Class races.
