This May marks the 30th anniversary of the Salute to Veterans Celebration and Air Show. From May 24 to 29, the Salute to Veterans Celebration will be held at the Columbia Regional Airport in Columbia, Missouri, and will continue the organization’s three decade-long commitment to honoring and remembering those who have served and those who currently serve in the Armed Forces.
Held each year over the Memorial Day weekend, the show is free to the public and will include various military teams such as the U.S. Navy Super Hornet demo team, RCAF CF-18 demo team, Canadian Forces SkyHawks, and US Army “Black Daggers” Parachute Team. The show will also include performances by ACE Maker Airshows and the Trojan Phlyers Air Show Team.
Additionally, the week-long celebration will include a wreath laying ceremony at the Columbia Regional Cemetery, an honored guests banquet, Salute to Veterans Parade, and a post-parade military ceremony.
