To help you and your organization better prepare for the annual Convention, ICAS is announcing scheduling details for its convention education programs much earlier and with some notable additions.

New workshops will include the Air Show Performer Marketing Workshop (Monday, December 9), Using Social Media to Sell Air Show Tickets Workshop (Monday, December 9), Building a Better Board Workshop (Thursday, December 12) and the Air Show Security Workshop (Thursday, December 12).

The 2019 convention will also feature the traditional program of workshops that have helped to train a generation of air show professionals: the Air Shows 101 Air/Ground Operations Workshop (Monday, December 9) , Air Boss 201: Advanced Air Boss Workshop (Monday, December 9), Sponsorship for Events Workshop (Monday, December 9) and the two-part Air Shows 102: Business Basics Workshop (half-day on Tuesday, December 10 and half-day on Wednesday, December 11).

“Our members have made it clear that they like and need both our traditional, hour-long breakout sessions and the long-format, day-long and half-day workshops,” says ICAS President John Cudahy. “So, this year’s convention education program will include a larger number and wider variety of both.”
