The topic of spin recovery is a hotly contested debate with many different opinions; typically, the proponents of each technique believe they are the authorities on spin recovery.  Many mnemonic phrases exist, while some use rote mental checklists and muscle memory to recover.  Understanding that many aircraft have many different spin characteristics, ICAS would like to compile some techniques.  So I ask you, how do you recover from a spin in your aircraft?  Send your aircraft type and a written description of your spin recovery technique to Dan Hollowell at hollowell@airshows.aero.  Results will be compiled over the course of the next few weeks.
